Artist’s Note: "Break Out Mandala is an exploration of expansion, breakthrough, and structural liberation. Drawn entirely by hand in my Tucson studio, the composition centers on an elegant four-part pink floral axis that anchors the inner quadrants. From this delicate core, the design aggressively 'breaks out' of a traditional circular boundary, pushing structural, multi-tiered stepped pueblo pathways of sky blue and bold pink straight into the outer margins. Punctuated by trailing leaf vines, nestled four-petal rosettes, and floating botanical fans in the four corners, it bridges the rigid, mirrored symmetry of my Polish folk roots with the bold, expansive horizons of the Southwest."
