What is The Penczart Archive?
The Penczart Archive is the lifelong collection of artwork created by Papa Jack (John Penczar), an 82-year-old self-taught artist whose creative journey spans more than six decades.
Each piece represents a moment in time, a story, or an idea brought to life through his imagination and unique artistic style. Our mission is to preserve, share, and celebrate his extensive collection of artwork by making it available as original artwork, collectible pieces, and everyday treasures.
Who is Papa Jack?
Papa Jack, also known as John Penczar, is a self-taught artist who has spent more than 60 years creating thousands of unique illustrations, paintings, and designs.
His artwork reflects his imagination, experiences, and love of storytelling. The Penczart Archive was created to ensure his creative legacy can be enjoyed by collectors, families, and art lovers everywhere.
Are these mass-produced designs?
No. The artwork featured throughout The Penczart Archive comes from Papa Jack’s personal collection of original drawings and creations.
While some products are produced using print-on-demand technology, the artwork itself begins with Papa Jack’s original creative work. Every design has a story and comes from decades of artistic exploration.
Products & Artwork
Are original artworks available for purchase?
Yes. Original artwork from Papa Jack’s personal collection is available through our Fine Art Collection.
Each original piece is one-of-a-kind and represents a unique part of his artistic journey. Availability is limited because once an original artwork is sold, it becomes part of someone else’s collection.
What are ACEO Art Cards?
ACEO stands for Art Cards, Editions, and Originals. These are miniature works of art that are typically the size of a standard trading card.
Papa Jack’s ACEO cards are individually created collectible pieces that allow art lovers to own an original piece of artwork at an accessible price point.
Are prints made from Papa Jack’s original artwork?
Yes. Fine art prints are created from Papa Jack’s original artwork and allow more people to enjoy pieces from his collection.
Prints provide an opportunity to bring his artwork into your home while preserving the original pieces for collectors.
Are your products created specifically for each order?
Many of our products, including apparel, home goods, drinkware, and gifts, are created after an order is placed through our trusted print-on-demand partner.
This allows us to offer a wide variety of products featuring Papa Jack’s artwork without mass-producing inventory.
Ordering & Shipping
How long does it take to receive my order?
Shipping times vary depending on the type of product purchased.
Printify Fulfilled Products:
Most print-on-demand products require approximately 2–7 business days for production before shipping.
ACEO Art Cards:
Typically packaged and shipped within 1–3 business days.
Prints and Original Artwork:
Typically packaged and shipped within 3–10 business days, depending on order size and preparation requirements.
You will receive tracking information when your order ships.
Will my items arrive in one package?
Not always. Because some products are shipped directly from our studio and others are fulfilled through our production partners, items from the same order may arrive in separate packages.
This allows each item to be handled by the team best equipped to prepare it.
How can I track my order?
Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information when available.
Please allow some time for tracking updates after your package begins its journey.
Do you ship internationally?
International shipping availability depends on the product and destination. Available shipping options and costs will be shown during checkout.
Customers are responsible for any customs fees, duties, or taxes required by their country.
Returns & Exchanges
What is your return policy?
Because many of our products are created specifically for each customer, we do not accept returns or exchanges due to changes of mind, incorrect sizing choices, or personal preferences.
However, we want you to be happy with your purchase. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or there is an issue with your order, please contact us and we will work with you to make it right.

Can I request a specific Papa Jack artwork on a product?
We are continually adding new designs from Papa Jack’s extensive archive. If there is a specific piece you would love to see featured, please contact us and let us know.
While we cannot guarantee every request can be fulfilled, we love hearing what artwork connects with our customers.
